Libby Schrafft


Libby has successfully managed and built VMS since acquiring the business in 1992. Libby’s background within the corporate, association and government sectors along with a proven record of accomplishment has only enhanced the operation to what it is today. She is well known within the industry for providing outstanding customer relations due to an in-depth expertise and understanding of client needs, coupled with extensive venue knowledge and relationships. Libby has developed an experienced team who all have their part to play in the development of the business.

Mike Schrafft

Director / Principal

Mike, joined VMS in 2003 although being involved since its inception1992, following more than twenty years General Management and Board experience within both the corporate, sporting and NFP sectors. His focus is financial management, major project management, IT & e-commerce platforms and strategic planning. With thirty years print experience Mike also provides VMS clients with expert conference “print management” advice for project and exhibitor management. He also developed the online registration platform RegoDirect & Exhibitor-Gallery, which the company uses. Mike also delivered a number of international sporting events as the Executive Director of the NSW Rugby Union and has sat on numerous sporting, industry association and NFP committees or boards.

Lindsay Wallace

General Manager

As General Manager, Lindsay is focussed across all aspects of the business including business development, client relations, onsite logistics, venue co-ordination and technology. Lindsay joined the team as Business Development Manager in 2018. A world travelled person who has called Sydney home since 2011. Lindsay’s experience ranges from Food and Beverage Management in the United Kingdom and New Zealand to Conference Sales and Business Development Management in the Hotel Industry in Australia. Her experience in hospitality has provided her with outstanding customer service skills and has given her a strong attention to detail and a committed loyal approach to all projects.

Amy Venardos

Executive Assistant

Amy commenced work with VMS through an internship while studying an Advanced Diploma in Event Management at William Blue College in 2017. Once her internship was completed, Amy moved onto a full-time position as an Executive Assistant at VMS and provides delegate support to conference attendees through the VMS “helpline”. She is also responsible for database management within RegoDirect as well as being the main developer for the Conference App.

Rachael Lihou

Business Development Executive

Rachael joins our team as our Business Development Executive. With over 17 years’ experience in the Sales, Destination Marketing and Events Industry she will be working with the team in growing our network and focusing on client relationships within the Association Industry. Rachael commenced her hospitality career in Switzerland studying at the Swiss Hotel Management School. Since returning to Australia Rachael has excelled in various Sales & Marketing positions in Australia, including roles at Accor, IHG, Rydges Destination Wollongong and Ascot International. Rachael is dedicated to assisting clients in finding the right venue, in the right destination for all their events.

Work Experience Opportunities

In addition, we are committed to our youth and the next generation of conference management superstars. We provide work experience opportunities for hospitality students to participate firsthand in conference set up and onsite support and invite students to participate when required.
