Libby & I joined the industry at the recent “Meeting on the Green” at Mercure Kooindah Waters on the central coast.
After arriving Thursday afternoon we had a very pleasant few drinks and dinner on the balcony overlooking the putting green and 9th green before retiring to our spacious apartment style accommodation.
Breakfast served between 7.30am – 8.45am in preparation for a day of golf on this interesting but difficult golf course, playing a four ball ambrose competition. The course simply chewed us up with plenty of balls being required. However, in our defence there was considerable F&B throughout the day that impacted on our ability to focus. Great fun was had by all.
However, Libby not into golf attended the 50 Shades of Grey, Matter! workshop by the pool view room. “Boost your grey matter!!” With the help of Dr Helena Popovik, learn’t what foods to eat to stimulate and motivate the brain. The afternoon was HOTTED up with the resident Sexspert, Bettina Arndt, with a racy discussion on why women prefer chocolate. This session wasn’t for the light hearted!!
A fantastic day for all completed by a wonderful late (very) lunch and wonderful prizes. Yours truly winning a night at Q-Station in Manly. Looking forward to an invite next year.
Mike Schrafft, Director.
