VMS Event & Conference Logistics recently celebrated 30 years of business with staff & family at “The Ternary”, Novotel Darling Harbour. “It has been difficult since March 2020, but we survived and we are on our way back”, says Libby Schrafft, Principal.
Libby acquired Venue Marketing Service in 1992 and quickly transitioned the business as technology impacted the industry; internet, desk top computers, mobile phones. In 2003 Mike Schrafft joined the business from a lengthy corporate career and is currently a Board member of MEA and Chairman of ShireBiz.
The company changed its name to VMS Event & Conference Logistics in 2013 to reflect the change from venue marketing to a full professional conference service provider.
“While 2022 has been a challenging year as business was resumed, we have every indication & confidence that 2023 will be better. We have also been able to maintain our experience with Amy Venardos – operations adding further depth and Lisa Storer – administration both very experienced industry personnel,” comments Libby.
