The event is always full of fun and surprises and this year was no different.  The theme was to “take flight with Mirvac Hotels & Resorts across Australia and New Zealand”. The hotel was decked out as an airport with security checks and all and the Mirvac team dressed for the occasion with the hotel General Managers (Top Gun, Tom Cruise look alikes) in their pilot outfits and the sales team as hostesses. We sipped wine and indulged in canapés as we wondered from room to room taking part in a number of their fun activities, paper plane throwing, Wii Resort, nailing painting and simulated surfing (we watched others crash and burn). It was a great night to learn about new hotel openings such as Quay West Resort Noosa and the Sebel Newcastle which is due to open in November. Mary-Jane Wardrop – Director of Sales
