The LCSA conference was held at the Swiss Grand Bondi Beach over 2 1/2 days with pre-conference training, welcome reception, 2 days of conference with a dinner. There were 9 exhibitors and over 200 delegates which gave the conference “ownership” of the venue. I think it was the only time I have seen a government minister (Linda Burney) given a standing ovation for her contribution to the sector. An simply amazing moment! The venue was perfect for a conference this size and there was a “buzz” at the welcome reception which never faded throughout. By any standards a very successfull conference. Mike Schrafft, Director.
