Mike & I did a famil to Sanctuary Cove a couple of weeks ago and can say it was the best one we have ever participated in. Why? Well for starters they showcased what was on offer in the region. Starting with an early bird breakfast (7am pick up) at Movieworld where we were met by two bumbling park attendants and a drunk plus Bugs Bunny and Tweety Bird. Serenaded by an opera singer (the drunks father) over to having a ride on the breathtaking BATWING Spaceshot. Then back to Sanctuary Cove to go by Tall Ships to an unknown destination… On the way power boat rides were made available, parasailing (Mike went solo) and even a float plane trip over the area for a select few including moi! At McLarens Landing we were hosted to a magnificent lunch before heading back by catamaran. Then onto High Tea, complete with Taro reading while Mike snuck out for nine holes on the very exclusive Pines Golf Course. Barely time for a rest before rejoining the group for a progressive dinner starting at Ioesco Restaurant for drinks & canapes at the Marina, back to the Hyatt for a smashing dinner and then next door to a themed piano bar (he was cute, could play and sing as well) for the remainder of the evening with hand made desert and Moet! What a night.
The Hyatt Sanctuary Cove were magnificent hosts but more importantly they demonstrated what was on offer in the region. There is just so much to do and I would have no hesitation in recommending this destination, better still let us put it together for you. Libby Madden-Schrafft
